Irish Wolfhounds are the tallest dog &, I'd imagine, that English Mastiffs are the heaviest.

but I also decided to google "biggest dog" and it came up with African Boerboel which is a type of mastiff, Neapolitan Mastiff, Bull Mastiff, Irish Wolfhound & Great Danes. I think it all depends on if you were wondering about the tallest or the biggest...that is two different things. Good luck!
